Personality: Jace is outgoing, friendly, almost always happy, pretty calm, and loves the outdoors. Can be slightly immature when it comes to jokes and comments, but when it comes to taking care of the preserve, he is completely responsible.
He loves music! He plays the guitar, an acoustic (electric are way too noisy), and enjoys listening to it as well. He listens to light rock, classic rock, and some modern music as well. Weaknesses: Is always looking for an adventure and will take up dangerous ones if he thinks it will be fun. He will also do anything for his family, for they mean the world to him. Hurt them, and you got one pissed off Shadow Charmer on your hands.

Weapons: Pair of daggers and bow and arrow.
Abilities: Is a Shadow Charmer and a Knight of the Dawn. Is a skilled archer but can use his daggers just as well.
Shadow Charmer 
    Basic

• Shade Walking.
• Can command undead and wraiths (can hear them also).
• Immune to magical manipulation of emotion.
  
• Can perceive dark elements invisible to others. 
  
• Can speak and understand the languages of darkness, from demons to trolls. 
  
• Trusted more by dark creatures than other humans, being an ally of the night.
  

• Can unlock locks with mind.
• Can see in the dark.
• Can quench flames.

• Shadow Traveling- Ability to open a "portal" of pure shadow in which the person can travel to any location. The exception is that if the location is magically protected it can't be traveled into, unless it has previously been set foot in by the person shadow traveling. Set back- After its use, the the user becomes slightly dizzy for around five seconds. The more it is used in a small amount of time the dizzier the user gets and will eventually vomit and may become unconscious. 

History

Jace has lived in Texas all of his life. His parents died in a car crash when he was starting high school. Thats when he started living with his grandparents, who were caretakers of a magical preserve for creatures called Misty River. When he lived their, his cousin, Mason McKinley, visited them often: Their fathers were brothers. They were became really close, they went to the same high school, they had the same friends, they were practically brothers themselves. Jace started going to college after high school, and this is where he met Xeria. They were both in the same music class. They instantly had a connection, and became best friends and then they were a couple. Then Jace got a message from Mason that their grandparents passed away during the night, and that they had left the Misty River Preserve into their care. He told Xeria and she immediately said she would come with. Now he is at the Misty River Preserve with Xeria and Mason where Mason and him are co-caretakers of the preserve. Jace quickly became a Knight of Dawn, with his status of being a caretaker. He is as active as he can be, being a caretaker is his first priority. Jace then became a Shadow Charmer, along with Mason, when they destroyed an evil talisman man that was poisoning the river at the preserve. They were then summoned by one of the more less violent demons, Mason, where the demon officially made them Shadow Charmers. Most Shadow Charmers are evil, but they are not. They knew two other Shadow Charmers from being in the Knights of Dawn, The Sphinx and Seth Sorenson. From they learned their basic abilities and later they discovered their unique abilities.
